The way the manual shows it, is disconnecting all the coolant lines near the thermostat, and pulling the hard line still attached to the oil cooler out the drivers side.

I've done the oil pan, rear main seal, and most recently the intake manifold.....in addition to these I will also be doing the solenoids.
