I have had many issues with these sensors: dropped readings, sensor errors, bad readings. I have contacted Dexcom all the time and they just send me a new sensor. Before you remove, try to calibrate 3 times within 20 minutes. If no response then I would call Dexcom. In the future, I have had great success in placing the sensor in for 24 hours in advance before activating.
